Prices and VAT
All prices are shown in South African rand and include everything except delivery, which is calculated and shown separately at checkout. CKtech is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to prices and no VAT line appears on your order.
We may correct an obvious pricing error before an order is accepted, and we will not charge you more than the total you were shown at checkout without your agreement.
When an order is accepted
Placing an order is an offer to buy, not an acceptance of it. An order is accepted once payment has been received and supplier availability has been confirmed. We will tell you by email when that happens, or if it cannot happen.
Availability is checked during checkout but is not a reservation of supplier stock, and CKtech does not operate an automated supplier-ordering service.
Payment
You can pay by EFT or, when card payment is offered at checkout, by PayFast.
- An EFT is not treated as paid until the funds reflect in CKtech's bank account.
- A PayFast payment is treated as paid only once PayFast confirms it to us.
If an order cannot be fulfilled
If the goods are unavailable, delivery cannot be arranged, or an order cannot otherwise be fulfilled, we will contact you and cancel the order and refund what you paid, in line with the Consumer Protection Act and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
Delivery, returns and your information
Delivery is described in Delivery, returns and refunds in Returns and refunds, and how we handle your personal information in Privacy notice. Those pages form part of these terms.
Complaints
If something goes wrong, contact support@cktech.co.za first so we can put it right. You keep every right you have in law, including the right to approach a consumer court, the National Consumer Commission, or the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud.
